On March 26th, a wildfire broke out in the Boulder open space between Bear Peak and the National Center for Atmospheric Research. As afternoon winds pushed the fire East towards Boulder, professional fire services from all over the county rushed in to prevent a situation like what happened with the Marshall / Superior fire just a few months back.

It was incredible to witness all the professional and volunteer firefighters rushing in, and flying overhead to stop the fire from taking people's homes.
