Down in the town of Durango Colorado, there's a small, local bike shop that's home to a rich community of cyclists. The shop's walls are a museum of cycling heritage, an homage to the incredible feats that locals have contributed to the annals of cycling history. You can't talk about the origins of mountain biking with out saying 'Durango'.
Nor can you talk about any single athlete's great accomplishments in this sport without mentioning the town and community where they grew up, and the people and bike shops which fostered their development.
